Director's Biography

David Depesseville was born in Nevers, France, in 1976. After studying cinema in Montpellier and working as a first assistant director on numerous projects, among them the films of Sophie Letourneur, Depesseville directed his first short film, Ci-gît l’amour, in 2005. He went on to make the shorts Le Dépeuplé, Les Lendemains qui chantent for the rock band Les Thugs, and La Dernière Plaine.
