Three tales, three ages, three worlds populated by splendid gods, revolting tyrants, cheerful vigilantes and cunning lovers all in an explosion of colour. In Ancient Egypt, a young king becomes the first pharaoh to deserve the hand of his loved one. During the Middle Ages in France, a mysterious wild boy steals from the rich to give to the poor. And in eighteenth-century Turkey, a prince of pastries and a princess of roses escape, so they can live as they please.
