For the last decade, Ehab Tarabieh has been in charge of the video department at BâTselem, documenting human rights violations in Occupied Palestine. His short f ilms have won numerous accolades, including the Best Short Film award at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival for The Forgotten (2012) and a nomination for a European Film Award for Smile and the World Will Smile Back (2015). The documentary Of Land and Bread (2019), his first feature-length film, had its world premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. The Taste of Apples Is Red (2022) is his debut feature-length fiction film.
