
Born in 1988, Imran Perretta is a writer, director, visual artist, and composer. Established in the world of contemporary art, his installations in the field of sound and moving images have been presented worldwide and are part of numerous public and private art collections. The Destructors, his most recent short film, has been screened at major institutions in the United Kingdom. Perretta received a Turner Prize fellowship in 2020, was nominated for the Jarman Award in 2019, and won a Paul Hamlyn Foundation Artist Award in 2023.
