Patricia Arquette, a renowned actor and distinguished advocate for women’s rights, has appeared in critically acclaimed films including Sean Penn’s The Indian Runner (1991), Tony Scott’s True Romance (1993), Tim Burton’s Ed Wood (1994), David Lynch’s Lost Highway (1997), and Martin Scorsese’s Bringing Out the Dead (1999). For her moving performance in Richard Linklater’s Boyhood (2014), she won the Academy Award and the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She also won Golden Globes for her roles in the series The Act (2019) and Escape at Dannemora (2018). More recently, she starred in the series Severance (2022) and High Desert (2023), and will be seen in Kenneth Branagh’s The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde and Kirill Sokolov’s They Will Kill You (both upcoming).
