Nabil Ben Yadir is a Belgian filmmaker known for his diverse, bold, and politically engaged stories. Badaoui Mokhtaria was immersed in the cinema of the 1950s and 1960s from a young age. She passed on this passion to her son Nabil Ben Yadir, with whom she co-directed Les Baronnes, her debut film as a director.
Four grandmothers from Molenbeek in Brussels take up theater and turn the lives of their families, their neighborhood, and even the entire country upside down.
